Reporting an error
This is the most useful thing anyone can send. If a record states something that is wrong, out of date, or traceable to a source that says something different, the desk wants to know.
Two things make a correction quick to act on:
- Which page and which sentence. A link to the page and a quote of the claim.
- What the primary source says. A link to the project's documentation, source code, governance record or a block explorer. Secondary coverage is a useful pointer but is not what gets cited.
Anything that turns out to be a genuine factual error is fixed and logged publicly on the corrections page, with the date and what changed. Nothing gets quietly edited.
Suggesting an asset
The archive covers fourteen assets and will grow. What makes a good candidate is not market capitalisation but whether there is a specific mechanism worth explaining — something about how the token works that most introductions skip over.
If you send a suggestion, saying what that mechanism is helps more than saying which coin it is.
Asking about funding or commercial links
The site's current status is described on the funding disclosure page: one registered referral link, on the buying guide, and nothing else. If something there is unclear, or you want to know whether it affected a particular editorial decision, ask.
What the desk cannot help with
Some things arrive regularly and none of them can be answered here.
- Which coin to buy, or when. This archive has no view and will not develop one on request.
- Recovering lost funds. Numiscue is not connected to any exchange, wallet or network, has no ability to reverse a transaction, and cannot recover a lost recovery phrase. Nobody who contacts you offering to do this can either.
- Account problems at an exchange. Those go to the exchange's own support. This site has no access to anyone's account and never will.
- Paid placement, guest posts and link exchanges. Not accepted. The one commercial arrangement on this site is the one already disclosed.
One safety note, because it matters
Nobody from this site will ever contact you first asking for a recovery phrase, a private key, a password, or remote access to your device. Nobody legitimate ever asks for those, in any context, for any reason. If a message claims to be from Numiscue and asks for one, it is not.
