Token unlock calendar: a dated snapshot

Index card for the token unlock calendar tool
Tool 01. Scheduled supply events for the assets in this archive.

Snapshot compiled August 2026. This page is not a live feed and does not update itself. Every row links to the source it came from; if the date matters to you, follow the link and read the current position.

Of the fourteen assets in this archive, five have a documented schedule on which supply enters circulation, leaves it, or changes rate. The other nine do not, and this page says so rather than padding the table.

Scheduled supply events

Documented supply events, sorted by how often they recur
Asset Recurs What happens Direction Source
ADA Every epoch, five days A fixed percentage of the remaining reserve is released into rewards and treasury Into circulation Supply dashboard
XRP Monthly, first of the month One escrow contract of up to one billion XRP expires; the unused portion returns to the back of the queue Into circulation Escrow announcement
BNB Quarterly Auto-Burn destroys an amount set by a formula using the quarter's block count and average price Out of supply Auto-Burn documentation
SOL Annually The inflation rate steps down by the disinflation rate until it reaches the long-term floor Rate change Inflation schedule
BTC Every 210,000 blocks, next expected 2028 The block subsidy halves, from 3.125 BTC to 1.5625 BTC Rate change Consensus parameters

The nine with nothing scheduled

Absence of a schedule does not mean supply is static. It means there is no dated event to put in a calendar, because the change happens continuously or not at all.

Why these have no calendar entry
AssetWhy not
ETHIssuance and burn both run every block, driven by staking participation and network demand. Nothing is scheduled.
USDTMinted and burned on demand as customers deposit and redeem. No schedule exists to publish.
USDCSame — supply follows issuance and redemption, not a calendar.
DOGEA flat 10,000 per block forever. No halvings remain and no schedule changes.
TRXBlock rewards and resource burns both run continuously.
LINKFixed supply with no issuance mechanism. Movements out of the original allocation are not on a published schedule.
AVAXStaking rewards taper toward the cap continuously, and fees burn continuously. No dated event.
DOTIssuance is set by governance and changes when a referendum passes, which is not a date anyone can put in a calendar in advance.
TONPer-block issuance and a per-transaction fee burn, both continuous.

How to read a calendar like this

Three habits that make unlock schedules useful rather than alarming.

Scale the event against the float. A release is only meaningful relative to how much is already circulating. XRP's monthly escrow expiry sounds enormous in absolute terms and is a modest fraction of circulating supply, and much of it goes straight back into escrow.

Ask where it goes. Tokens released to a treasury that spends slowly behave nothing like tokens released to holders who intend to sell. The recipient matters as much as the amount.

Remember that a known schedule is a known schedule. Anything on this page has been public for years. Events that everyone can see coming are not surprises. The supply changes worth worrying about are the ones nobody published.

The reasoning behind all three is set out at more length in the guide on reading supply and emission schedules.

Every row above was checked against the linked source in August 2026. This page is a snapshot: it has no live data connection, nothing here updates on its own, and the code that renders it sorts a static table. If a schedule has changed since, this page will be wrong until it is edited — which is why the sources are one click away on every row.
